Brian Marshall Position: Campus Minister Birthday: August 18, 1972 Reason You Like Being On Staff At CSF I love getting to work at CSF, getting to walk through life with students during the crazy, fun, and formative years of college. Plus, it keeps me looking young as people never guess my age. Favorite Books/Authors C.S. Lewis (Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, etc.). G.K. Chesterton (Orthodoxy). There are a whole host of others as I'm a bit of book lover. Come by my office and we can talk books/authors. Favorite Movies Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Good Will Hunting. Band of Brothers. I can never name my top movies but those are the first 3 that come to mind today. Favorite Music Anything popular in a variety of genres. I enjoy listening to popular (whatever is selling) music if for no other reason than figuring out why people like a particular song. Artists that I like include Rich Mullins, Bruce Hornsby, Rascal Flatts (to add a country flavor). Favorite Biblical Character/Book Jacob. Here's someone who wrestled with God and lost yet in losing he won and even amidst the losing and winning couldn't find enough good sense to stop fighting with God. I don't always like this about myself but I find a lot of Jacob's spirit within me. Random Fact I was once invited to play on a tournament team with ex-University of Kentucky basketball players. I'm the stereotypical Kentucky player, not too quick but I can drain a jump shot or two. Anything Else You Would Like To Share I'm married to a wonderful wife named Shelby. We are expecting our first child in February. Gosh, that sounds so adult and mature. Let's add something else not so adult, how about the tidbit that I once had to spend in jail for failing to pay a traffic ticket.
