How do I join CSF? Just show up! CSF isn't a "club;" we don't have memberships or applications or any hoops to jump through. If you're a college student and you'd like to become part of what God is doing at our campus ministry, just pick any of our weekly events and show up! We'd love for you to come hang with us. Is CSF a church? Yes and no. CSF functions like a church in many ways. We preach the Word of God and provide many opportunities for growth, fellowship, and service. We have a weekly service called Synergy on Thursday nights and offer small group Bible studies throughout the week, but do not have Sunday morning services and encourage our students to get involved with a local church. What denomination is CSF? CSF is non-denominational. We welcome students from all walks of life. You are welcome to attend our weekly services or small groups whether you are a Christian or not. If you'd like to find out more about our beliefs, go here. Where is CSF located on the UK campus? Find out here. Can I come to CSF anytime? When are the doors open? You can stop by CSF at any time during the week. You don't have to have a reason! There's almost always someone hanging around Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, there are usually not many people around, if any, so you'll just have to stop by and see. Plus, our entire building (including the basement) is covered with wireless Internet access. Feel free to find someplace to sit and do homework or just surf for a while. What is the Encouragement Board? The Encouragement Board is hanging on the wall in the lobby of CSF, and anyone can use it! Write someone's name on one side of a piece of paper and an encouraging note on the other! Post it on the board and that's it! Remember to check the board when you're around to see if anyone has left you a note! (If you get a note, take it off the board and its yours to keep!) I'd like to become more involved at CSF, where do I start? Talk to one of our staff or interns. How do I become a Shift_ Leader or an Intern? Express interest to a current Staff member, Intern or Shift_ Leader. There will be some sort of application process late in the Spring semester to determine who is interested before new leaders are picked. How do I stay updated with what's going on at CSF? Visit our Homepage often, look at our calendar and mark the dates of special events, or subscribe to our mailing list. What happens if a personal possession gets stolen from CSF? Let someone know as soon as possible so that we can help in the effort to track down any items that are lost or stolen. However, CSF can not be financially responsible for lost/stolen goods that are misplaced on the CSF grounds. Bottom line, CSF can not reimburse people for stolen goods.
