Freshmen

New surroundings. New experiences. New friends. Finding your niche at college can be a challenge.

Shift” is a weekly time for freshmen to find that place. Gather. Connect. Eat free food. And figure out where life with God fits into life at college. Each week we discuss important issues facing college students. Free food. Free people. Free convos.

There are also
CSF Groups just for freshmen. Find community with other new students in a more intimate setting. Question, learn, and grow with others as you begin your college journey.

Seniors

"Remember your Creator during your youth: when all possibilities lie open before you and you can offer all your strength intact for his service. The time to remember is not when you are senile and paralyzed! Then it is not too late for your salvation, but too late for you to serve as the presence of God in the midst of the world and creation. You must take sides earlier- when you can actually make choices, when you have many paths opening at your feet, before the weight of necessity overwhelms you."

-Jacques Ellul

Graduating from college is a time of transition, a paradigm shift not unlike the one experienced upon entering college. Acclimating to the post-college world entails new experiences, new challenges, and new opportunities unlike any you've faced before. We want to help you make this transition.

Our hope is that as you transition from the college life into the "real world", you are prepared to take His message with you wherever you go. We know that there are many possibilities lying open before you; our goal is to help you to serve as the presence of God in the midst of the world and creation.

Men

Man. Dude. Awesomeness. All of these words pretty much mean the same thing, and at CSF we like to be all of them (especially Awesomeness). Awesomeness is hard to conquer without other men. (There is a reason there are a bunch of them in Braveheart.)

Here at CSF we have Mancations, Manferences, and many other things that include "Man" in the title to solve this problem. Think you know what it means to be a man? Come prove it.

This is the place to be to get info about upcoming events or to get plugged into one of our guys' CSF Groups.

Women

Life is definitely more fun if you're a girl, but it can be hard at times too, especially in college. Here at CSF there are girls who have difficult pasts and current struggles, just like the rest of us. We aren’t perfect, and thankfully, because of Jesus, we don’t have to be.

The Women’s Ministry of CSF wants you to have a place to connect with others, especially with other women. Through growth groups, women's events, conversations, and nights when we just hang out, we want to give you a chance to make lasting friendships.

Geeks

Are you a gamer? Do you have a plan mapped out in the event of the inevitable zombie apocalypse? Have you ever dressed up as Boba Fett for Halloween? Or just because you wanted to? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions (or even if you didn’t), then CSF is where you need to be.

Come participate in video game tournaments, watch your favorite movies and shows, and discuss the latest and greatest in tech and gaming while growing closer to Jesus in community.

If you want to meet awesome people and do all sorts of awesome things, you should probably check out THE HQ, every Friday night at midnight in the CSF basement.

Greeks

We know life is a little different when you’re a Greek. Fraternities and sororities are a great way to find community at college. If you’re in a Greek organization, CSF has a ton of events to help connect you with other students and give you a chance to explore the intersection between the college life and the Christian life.

CSF Serve

We believe that every Christian is called to serve. Jesus calls each of us to be the Church by spreading His love throughout the world.

There are a ton of opportunities to serve through and around CSF. Whether you are interested in building houses, hanging out with refugee children after school, or simply helping us to clean up around the CSF building, there are plenty of ways to get involved. We want to direct you to some of those places and serve with you. There are so many people on campus and throughout Lexington that are lost and hurting. Sometimes we can offer them a warm meal or a new home, but more often we can show them God’s love though a conversation or a gentle hand.

"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." James 2:14-17
